It takes a lot of work to make people believe that the problem is the freedom to exchange property (capitalism) rather then the monopoly on physical violence that has a gun to your head (government), but they always manage to pull it off. You see, the problem is not that they have power, but that you have too much freedom.
In the trailer they point out that all the money from the “bail outs” went to big business, and then later call it “pure capitalism”. Do I even need to point out the obvious flaw of calling big business gaining advantages over others by taking government money that was taken from the people by force is not capitalism?
Even after Ayn Rand wrote one of the most widely read fiction books of all time, Atlas Shrugged where the villains are those businessmen that gain advantages over others by means of accepting government money and regulations, and clearly demonstrated that these people NOT capitalists, still they recall, it is the capitalists to blame.
Even after the fact that anything we can call civilization has only been founded on the slow, steady, and painful growth of private property and individual liberty, but still it is capitalism that is to blame.
And even now in the face of one of the largest most deadly governments the world has EVER seen where every aspect of the market is regulated, it is your freedom, and not their power that is to blame.
Michael Moore has done nearly nothing other then support the growth of state power, nearly every modern intellectual has done nothing other than embrace and justify violence and coercion. They call it god, government, class, and society but it all comes down to just another justification to the belief that you don’t have a right to live without their permission.
Every word spoken by the intellectual is another bayonet at our neck, and drop of blood absorbed by the earth forever.
And even now, when the state takes your money by force and gives it to the rich they don’t call it slavery, they call it freedom.

So true. I remember my jaw dropping when I heard about the bail out... and I still can't believe it actually passed. Such bull shit.
